Intermediate Mead Making Class

In this new intermediate class, we will talk about how to make a good traditional mead. It’s harder than many people think to create an environment that will keep yeast happy. Participants will be tasting honeys, varietal traditional meads, and a yeast experiment to see how the decision of ingredients can impact the finished mead.

Our friends from the Museum of Life and Science are coming to Starrlight Mead for an awesome Tinkering & Drinkering! Activities can include: circuits using conductive LEGOs, KEVA blocks, one-of-a-kind cooperative video game, needle felting (in case you’re feeling stabby), perler beads, leather working, or shrinky dinks.

Ribbon Cutting

It's been a long time coming!
Join us and local dignitaries to cut the ribbon to officially open the new Starrlight Mead facilities. We'll have some speeches then cut the ribbon in true Mead-ieval style - with a sword! Stick around for a tour and some light refreshments.
