Claim your tasting time before the big day! VIP Tastings are $16 plus tax per person and include samples of 8 meads, plus one reserve mead, in a seated, private atmosphere with dedicated mead wench Jessica. Please select the timeslot that you would like and then the number of tastings in your party. Tasting times are limited to 12 people as this is a seated, private tasting. If there aren’t enough spots left open at that time for your party, you will need to select a different time.

Intermediate Mead Making – Traditional and Yeast Selection

Class: Saturday, Nov 14, 2026, 10-1

In this intermediate class, we will talk about how to make a good traditional mead. It’s harder than many people think to create an environment that will keep yeast happy. We’ll start with honey and how the different flavors of varietal honeys can impact the flavor of the mead. Participants will be tasting honeys, varietal traditional meads, and a yeast experiment to see how the decision of ingredients can impact the finished mead. We’ll also cover yeast nutrients to keep the little “yeasty beasties” happy!

$50 single, $75 two people

Basic home mead making class. Learn about how to make a small batch of mead, the equipment needed, and the techniques for ensuring success. Each participant will take home a one-gallon batch of mead to finish at home.
