Basic Bookbinding: Stab binding & more

What’s better than a good book?… Making your own book! Join Pittsboro book artist Josh Hockensmith (Blue Bluer Books) for an afternoon of basic bookbinding demos and activities. You’ll learn some basic principles, materials, and tools of bookbinding through hands-on activities. This workshop is perfect for beginners – but even if you took our previous workshop, you will learn a new, elegant style of binding this time! We’ll warm up by making sewn pamphlets, and then move on to the more sophisticated Japanese-style stab binding.

Registration: $45 for one person, $30 for each additional member of a party. You must sign everyone in a party up together to get the group price!

Includes all materials and one drink.
