Beginning Home Mead Making Class - 07/27/24, 10 am - 1 pm
Basic home mead making class. Learn about how to make a small batch of mead, the equipment needed, and the techniques for ensuring success. Each participant will take home a one-gallon batch of mead to finish at home.
Options - You may sign up a couple for this course, but you will only get one set of supplies and handouts to share. (Select 2 people.)

Attendees will learn the basics of mead making. You will be taken step by step through the process of making a “cyser” (honey and apple). You will learn how to properly sanitize and what equipment is needed to make a great homemade mead! You will take home your own gallon of mead, made during the class, with instructions on what to do with it when you get home. No mead making experience necessary.
Class takes place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 10 am - 1 pm at the meadery in Pittsboro. All class participants MUST be over 21! No exceptions. Must sign up by July 21. Look for another Beginning class in October
